Looking for a new bird dog and a great family pet?
Pollitt Farms is located in South Central Iowa and we home raise 1-2 litters of AKC registered Brittany Spaniel Puppies per year.
We are not mass breeders!
Our puppies are raised indoors, we bathe them regularly and play with them every day. This means when your brittany puppy goes home with you, they are highly social, love to play fetch, like taking bathes, and are usually partially potty trained.
All puppies leave our care with tail docked, dew claws removed, vaccinations and wormings current. As placement time nears, we match puppy personalities with the specific characteristics that each family is looking for. We like to keep in touch with our puppy families and are happy to announce that all of our brittany puppies have been placed in loving homes all over the United States.
5/19/2012: The puppies are getting so BIG!! They are all doing great and are very noisy when they are playing together. The weather has been beautiful here, so they've been able to spend a big part of the afternoon and evenings outside. I've posted new individual pictures of Sophie's puppies and am currently working on Sandi's puppies....should have them all done by tomorrow.
If you haven't contacted us already, please email or give us a call and let us know if you will be picking up your puppy over the Memorial Day Weekend. If doesn't really matter when, because we'll be very close to home all weekend long. If we are flying your puppy to you, I will be making flight arrangements the week of May 28th to fly the week of June 4th, if you have any day/time preferences please let me know.
5/08/2012: I haven't written in a while so I thought I would give an update. There are new pictures on the puppy life pages and a short little video of the puppies outside playing. We've been very busy and there have been a lot of "firsts" for the puppies these past couple weeks. They had their first bath and blow drying, which you have pictures of. They've had their first shots, they've been wormed for the first time and they've had their first of many trips outside to play. The first time they weren't too sure about being outside and they all howled like hound dogs but they've really warmed up to it. I'll be taking them outside today for a while and I'll try to get some individual shots of the puppies to post on their pages.
Thanks to all of you for making your selections so quickly! As you can see, we are very close to completing our search to find great homes for all of our cute little brittany pups! We plan to have all reserved within the next week. You make pick up your puppies on Memorial Day Weekend. A couple Some of our puppies will be flying to their new home. Flights will be arranged the week of June 4th.
4/29/2012: The puppies are all doing great and love chow time. It doesn't take them long to devour their meal of rice baby food and goat's milk. Today, we'll start soaking their puppy food in the goat's milk since we found some of Sophie's pups have ventures out of their kennel and were trying to her big dog food!
Should have all of Sophie's puppy pages up later on today.
4/28/2012: Working on putting up individual picture pages for each puppy....should be done for all by Sunday evening. Some of the puppies are a little more cooperative than others and they just don't want to sit still depending on whether I get to them during nap time or play time.
